Monte-Carlo WRC Rally January 24th - 27th, 2008.

The Rally of Monte Carlo is the longest running FIA event in the World Rally Championship. The Rally first took place 96 years ago in 1911 and is the oldest race of its kind. The rally is set on tarmac roads with sheets of invisible ice ontop, on one of the stages it is known for the drives to only go 30mph.

Sweden WRC Rally February 8th - 10th, 2008.

The Rally of Sweden is full of snow packed stages so snow studded tyres are necessary on all of the stages. During the few days that the rally is on the whole area will becomes like a huge festival. There have only been few non-Swedish drivers who have won this rally.

Mexico WRC Rally February 28th - March 2nd, 2008.

The Rally of Mexico has only been running for a short amount of time in the FIA World Rally Championship, the emphasis is focused on refining what we believe is a proven formula. Rally America, today known as Corona Rally Mexico, was created in 1979 through a big spirit of co-operation by the two largest clubs in Mexico

Argentina WRC Rally March 27th - 30th, 2008.

The Rally of Argentina is always a highlight of the season. Rally Argentina was first held in 1980 in the province of Tucuman, organised by the Automovil Club Argentino, after successfully running two FIA sanctioned events:

Jordan WRC Rally April 24th - 27th 2008.

The Rally of Jordan contains numerous stages that have been built solely for the rally. Jordan is the first Arab country to host a round of the FIA World Rally Championship. The Jordan Rally is established as the Kingdom's leading social and sporting event. Even the prince of Jordan has a huge roll to play in the rally by being the president of motorsport.

Italian WRC Rally May 16th - 18th, 2008.

The Rally of Italy is based in Sardinia, which is an island that's just off the coast of Italy. The stages themselves are surprising fast, given their tight, narrow nature. Sardinia hosted the rally for the first time in 2004 and has continued every year since then.

Greece WRC Rally May 29th - June 1st, 2008.

The Rally of Greece has to be the toughest on the calendar a mix of twisty mountain stages, lots of dust and scorching hot. The twisty, boulder-filled stages place huge demands on engine and cockpit cooling, as natural airflow is limited by the slow cornering speeds.

Turkey WRC Rally June 13th - 15th, 2008.

The Rally of Turkey is one of the newer rallies to the Calendar it is very worthy of being in the calendar for its rough, rocky gravel event. The rally started in 1972 and had never had an international driver complete in the rally until 2002 when Sebastien Loeb came along in his little saxo, then in 2003 the rally of Turkey was added two the WRC calendar.

Finland WRC Rally July 31st - August 3rd, 2008.

The Rally of Finland has been running for over half a century years and during that time only 5 non-fins have ever one it. The rally was first started in 1951 and was based on the rally monte-carlo regulations, a total of 26 competitors started the rally, 3 of which retired. The route took the participants all the way up to the Arctic Circle and back.

Germany WRC Rally August 15th - 17th, 2008.

The Rally of Germany was held in the Mosel region near a historic city of Trier. Trier is a beautiful city with many historic buildings, but most importantly there is lots of bars and restaurants in the town centre. This may be a pure asphalt event, but it has one of the widest varieties of sealed surfaces on the calendar.

New Zealand WRC Rally August 28th - 31st, 2008.

The Rally of New Zealand has changed back to the southern hemisphere. To win this rally you really need to have the best car control the roads are mainly fast out gravel roads. The weather also plays a big part in this rally so you have to pick your tyres right to be in with a chance of winning.

Spain WRC Rally October 2nd - 5th 2008.

The Rally of Spain has change quite a lot over the last few years. Corner-cutting is a widely-used skill in spain, but this can drag gravel onto the road for the following cars and the second run through the stages, meaning that instant reactions are as important as well-researched pace notes for the particularly hazardous zones.

French WRC Rally October 10th - 12th, 2008.

The Rally of France takes place on a small island, which is just off of the coast of Italy. Corsica is a dramatic, mountainous island, with its peaks rising rapidly out of the sea. It's definitely a rally for the asphalt specialists and only four non-French drivers have come away with victory in the past 20 years.

Japan WRC Rally October 24th - 26th, 2008.

The Rally of Japan joined into the WRC Calendar in 2004, it took the place of the Asia-pacific Rally Championship. Manufacturers Subaru and Mitsubishi wanted a rally near their key western car market. The event is based around Japan's northernmost island and the fast and flowing gravel stages, which are similar to that in New Zealand, thread their way through the narrow gaps in the forests.

Great Britain WRC Rally November 28th - 30th, 2008.

The Rally of Great Britain will return to windy and wet December. The promise of rain, mud and even the possibility of ice all thrown into the mix. The forest stages of south Wales, near to host city Cardiff, are fast and flowing but, when wet, become as slippery as any in the world.
